Former Ferrari team member Luigi Mazzola revealed his expectations for the rest of the 2024 Formula 1 season on the Sky Race Anatomy program, stating that McLaren will dominate the final Grands Prix after Lando Norris’ convincing victory in the Singapore Grand Prix, which was held at the 4.94-kilometre Marina Bay Street Circuit last Sunday.

These were the recent statements of the former Ferrari engineer: “The next six races will be ones where McLaren will dominate, that’s beyond question.” – he explained – “At the end of last year, in some races, they were in bad shape, but they had a car that lacked speed [on the straight, ed.], so they couldn’t perform on certain circuits.” – the Italian added.
“But if you look at the layout of the circuits in the next six Grands Prix, especially those with Sprint Races, they are all favorable to McLaren. At this point, I think the 52-point gap between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris is negligible. Will McLaren win them all? They will dominate in terms of car performance, but making it to the checkered flag is another thing,” Luigi Mazzola concluded.
