Onto France for some well deserved time off, to restart, partly to forget a 2022 Formula 1 championship that began in the best way possible, with a one-two finish for Scuderia Ferrari at the Bahrain International Circuit and another great race win for the Monegasque driver in Australia and instead continued unexpectedly, above all due to mistakes made by the Ferrari pit wall alongside technical failures caused by power unit problems.
However, Charles Leclerc remains in love with Ferrari and the Ferrari fans: his smiles and autographs for the fans are proof of this.
Yet the season was long and at times nerve-wracking. Once his 2022 commitments with the Scuderia were over, Charles Leclerc therefore went to Val-d’Isère (a ski resort in the French Alps, near the Italian border: with nearby Tignes, it’s part of the Espace Killy ski area), to enjoy the first days of vacation.
“On our way” – says the Ferrari driver in his Instagram story. The last few days have not been easy for Charles Leclerc, who broke up with his girlfriend Charlotte. The snow of Val-d’Isère, perhaps, will also serve to relax the Monegasque and recharge his batteries ahead of the 2023 Formula 1 season.
