A late effort from Lando Norris was enough to take top spot in the first free practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit.
It’s worth noting the leading time is more than 10 second off the fastest time we saw in a dry second practice at this circuit last year.
Ultimately, it’s difficult to take too much away from that session, apart from the fact that second practice at 10pm is going to be even more important now!
