The Sprint Qualifying session at the Brazilian GP was full of drama and surprises. After a fiercely contested session, Lando Norris secured pole position ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Oscar Piastri. Ferrari, however, struggled to find the right balance with the SF-25. While Charles Leclerc finished in eighth, Lewis Hamilton was eliminated during SQ2.
It was precisely this elimination that prompted the FIA to review Lewis Hamilton’s actions. During his final SQ2 attempt, the seven-time world champion allegedly ignored the double yellow flags displayed for the spin by his teammate Charles Leclerc. After a thorough investigation, the FIA cleared Lewis Hamilton, confirming that no violation occurred and that he would not receive any penalty.
