According to a recent report from the Italian version of the Motorsport.com website, the Ferrari engineers and technicians may be working on an intriguing technical solution for the 2025 Formula 1 car.
Ferrari’s bold technical gamble
The focus is on the reverse bell in the braking system’s corners—essentially, a carbon disc support bell designed with perforations to allow external air to pass through, improving cooling efficiency.
The Maranello team is expected to implement several changes on the new car, including a pull-rod front suspension, a repositioned cockpit with relocated radiators, and a redesigned chassis. But will these modifications be enough to make the car competitive for the 2025 Formula 1 world title? Only time will tell.
