A Morning Full of Teasers
First, a sequence of white and red dots, followed by the announcement of something “really nice” to be revealed tomorrow. So, this morning on X, Ferrari piqued interest, hinting at a possible presentation of special suits for the Las Vegas Grand Prix scheduled from November 17th to 19th in the city of sin.
The Scuderia Ferrari is coming off a challenging weekend in Brazil, where Charles Leclerc retired during the formation lap due to an electrical issue that led to a precautionary shutdown of the power unit to prevent potential engine damage.
In 2023, Ferrari is the only team to secure a race win outside of Red Bull’s dominance, with Carlos Sainz’s victory in Singapore. On that occasion, the Spanish driver clinched pole position and a win in a weekend that proved complicated for the Milton Keynes-based team.
Las Vegas could represent another significant opportunity for Ferrari to compete for a prestigious result in the new Grand Prix event designed by Liberty Media, adding a third race to the United States and bringing Formula 1 back to Las Vegas after a 41-year hiatus since the 1982 edition held at the Caesars Palace circuit, covering nearly 4 km. The new circuit, where drivers will compete this time, exceeds 6 km and features an endless straight on the famous Las Vegas Strip.
