In this way, with astronomical figures being discussed, the Prancing Horse would obtain significant financial support in anticipation of Lewis Hamilton’s arrival. The British driver will receive a more than million-dollar salary in a deal that extends beyond the track.
For the Italian side, it would mark a return to having a title sponsor after parting ways with Mission Winnow. Furthermore, the confirmation of the deal with HP would once again highlight the importance of Lewis Hamilton’s arrival. The British driver, apart from his considerable track experience, would attract numerous sponsors to himself (and to Ferrari), as there was also talk in recent months of a potential interest from Tommy Hilfiger.
The leadership of the Prancing Horse has undoubtedly considered this aspect, similar to what happened with Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus, another “deal of the century” branded by John Elkann.
