Ferrari to wear special anniversary team kit at Las Vegas GP to honour key sponsor
Ferrari has confirmed that Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will debut a unique edition of the team kit during the Las Vegas Grand Prix, paying tribute to a long-standing sponsor and marking a major milestone for the Scuderia.
The iconic Italian team is celebrating 20 years of partnership with Puma as its official kit supplier. For the Las Vegas weekend, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will receive the standard team apparel, but redesigned with a special twist to highlight Ferrari’s rich heritage and racing achievements.
Rather than a single shade of red, the Las Vegas kit will feature a combination of three distinct reds, each representing a landmark moment in Ferrari’s Formula 1 history. The first tone draws inspiration from the original burgundy used during the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix at Mugello, a race that marked Ferrari’s 1,000th World Championship Grand Prix.
The second red references the 2007 Ferrari F2007 car, the season in which Kimi Räikkönen secured Ferrari’s last drivers’ championship to date. Meanwhile, the third red celebrates the 2008 Ferrari F2008, when Räikkönen and Felipe Massa helped the team clinch the constructors’ championship, marking Ferrari’s most recent team title.
This special-edition team kit not only honours Puma’s two-decade-long collaboration with Ferrari but also serves as a visual celebration of the Scuderia’s rich F1 legacy. Fans and media alike are expected to take note, with the unique apparel creating additional buzz for the Las Vegas GP weekend.
By incorporating historical shades into the modern team design, Ferrari emphasizes the continuity of its racing heritage while simultaneously showcasing its commitment to innovation, style, and global fan engagement.
