Scuderia Ferrari is preparing an exciting weekend at Monza, including special merchandise for fans and a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Niki Lauda’s world championship. In addition to commemorative items, both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will wear unique racing suits, while Ferrari mechanics will also sport special attire.
In the days leading up to the Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari revealed a collection of limited-edition merchandise celebrating the history of Lauda’s first title. A detailed article has been published explaining all available apparel and pricing. Fans attending the Monza weekend will also have the opportunity to meet the drivers during a special event in Milan on Wednesday, September 3. While it has not yet been confirmed whether the SF-25 will feature a special livery inspired by the iconic 312T, it is widely expected. Meanwhile, fans can get a first glimpse of the drivers’ racing suits for the event.
A Retro Touch for Monza
Several images have surfaced online showing the special racing suits that Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will wear in Italy. From the leaked photos, it appears the suits are very similar to those of the Ferrari mechanics, with a few distinctive differences, such as stylized ‘S’ motifs. The drivers’ names feature vintage-style lettering, and the Italian tricolor is visible on the ankles. A blurred image from the Ferrari Store also suggests that the under-suit will be completely blue.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that both drivers will wear special edition blue racing shoes, the Speedcat Pro, which are also available for fans to purchase at €450. Ferrari has meticulously prepared every detail, not only from a commemorative perspective but also in terms of technical upgrades for the SF-25 on track. The car is expected to feature some notably extreme technical developments for the Monza weekend.
