There is no moment of relaxation for Charles Leclerc and Scuderia Ferrari. Even in this theoretically Formula 1 weekend break, with the next Grand Prix scheduled to take place in 9 days at the historic Silverstone track, the Monegasque driver and the Maranello team were hard at work.
In fact, Ferrari and Charles Leclerc took to the track at the Mugello home track, for its last day of testing with the ‘prototype’ tires that Pirelli is testing in view of the 2023 Formula One season.
A test that is very important, in particular for Pirelli, who needs to gather as much data as possible to better define which products to use in the next Formula 1 championship.
Charles Leclerc completed several laps aboard his F1-75 car, with some onlookers who tried to crowd around the circuit to try to steal some image of the red car on the track.
At the same time Ferrari is focused on the next round of the 2022 Formula 1 season from after the second place finish with Carlos Sainz in Canada in a race in which Charles Leclerc – who started 19th – still managed to climb up to the fifth final position.
