Today Scuderia Ferrari has formalized the renewal of the partnership with Shell, which will remain the ‘Innovation Partner’ of the Maranello team, “with a special focus on sustainability and technology transfer from the track to the road” – as can be read in the press release that confirmed the continuation of a collaboration which has led to the conquest of twenty-two world titles – 10 Constructors and 12 Drivers – in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
However, in 2021 one other important partnership for Scuderia Ferrari is about to expire, the one with Philip Morris, a US company active in the tobacco industry, with products sold in over 180 countries outside the United States of America. The collaboration was renewed on February 20, 2018 for the following three-year period, that is from 2019 to 2021. According to a recent report from FormulaPassion.it, this link between Ferrari and Philip Morris, which dates back to 1973, will not be renewed.
