It will be an exciting year for Ferrari Driver Academy member Arthur Leclerc, who willstay will PREMA Racing. The Italian motorsport team has officially confirmed that Charles Leclerc’s brother will continue his relationship with the team and will enter his second FIA Formula 3 Championship season in 2022. The 21-year-old Monegasque joined the Italian squad two years ago, scoring several victories in the Formula Regional European Championship. Last year he made the big step to FIA F3 and took his first win in round 2 at Le Castellet, before repeating the same performance in the F3 Dutch Grand Prix at the Zandvoort circuit. The Ferrari junior also delivered a pole position for the Hungaroring Feature Race.
In 2022, FIA Formula 3 will revert to a similar format to the one used until 2020, with two races scheduled to take place during the weekend. Like for all the 2021 rookie class, Arthur Leclerc will need to adapt to a new weekend schedule for him as he looks to become one of the leading contenders of the series. Arthur Leclerc, the younger brother of Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc, will once again have the support of the Ferrari Driver Academy program.
