As we know, Ferrari did not bring the evolutionary package to Monaco that was ready for Imola. The upgrade package will definitely make its debut in Barcelona at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Updates from the punctual Albert Fabrega allow us to confirm that the technicians in Maranello have worked on the setup to extract the full potential from the SF-23 car in Monte Carlo, choosing a configuration with maximum downforce, of course.
As we reported yesterday, a “nolder” has been applied to the central part of the higher profile of the front wing. It is a small L-shaped step that increases downforce at lower speeds.
Even more noticeable is the one applied to the high profile of the rear wing, which is in a single-pillar configuration here in Monaco. Nevertheless, Scuderia Ferrari has one of the less conspicuous low-profile designs, especially at the ends where it appears tapered, resulting in a lighter overall appearance compared to Red Bull, Mercedes, and Alpine.
The two profiles of the beam wing have also been modified to have more overlap now, while the shape of the diffuser seems unchanged.
