Ferrari team principal Frédéric Vasseur was recently intercepted by fans at the exit from Ferrari’s Sporting Management. When asked about Adrian Newey, who has left the Red Bull F1 team and is expect to join the Italian side next season, the Frenchman’s response was telling.

In the video posted by a user on TikTok, one can clearly hear what the fan says to the Ferrari team principal, namely: “Fred, we’re waiting for Adrian Newey, please!”
At this point, the Ferrari team boss lets out a spontaneous laugh before responding ironically: “He’s not here,” pointing to the Sporting Management building.
In short, the Frenchman’s reaction only served to heighten the Ferrari fans’ anticipation for an arrival that now seems very close to finally happening: the genius car designer Adrian Newey is expected to start work in Maranello next year.
