New year, old sponsors. For the start of the new Formula 1 era marked by the introduction of completely different regulations, Scuderia Ferrari has announced it is resuming its partnership with Santander, which first began in 2010 with the arrival of Fernando Alonso in Maranello and continued until the end of the 2017 Formula 1 season. After four years of separation, the Maranello team and the Spanish bank meet again also thanks to the presence of Carlos Sainz in Ferrari, as both sides will hope that Carlos will be able to go even further than the results achieved during the first experience together.
The arrival of the Santander brand on Ferrari will reintroduce – with great probability – a touch of white on the 2022 car, plunging the team and its fans into a not-so-distant past, as mentioned. So let’s dust off all the liveries of the first eight years of the last decade, thus trying to imagine how the new version of the most famous red car in the world will be, when Ferrari will officially launch the 2022 Formula 1 car, between 16 and 18 February.
