Ferrari F1 car launch: what we know about SF-23 one day before presentation. What we know about SF-23 one day before presentation.

Some (possible) details on the new Ferrari car have been revealed in recent days via social media: the single-seater will be officially presented tomorrow live from 11.15 AM CET and you can watch it live on our site here. We have known for some time that the project is called 675, while the name has only recently been revealed: SF-23. Here’s what we know so far

TOMORROW THE BIG DAY: WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT THE FERRARI 2023 F1 CAR SO FAR?

1. If world champions Red Bull were the first top team to unveil the car (or at least the livery) with which it will try to defend its crown in the next World Championship, for Scuderia Ferrari the wait has brought us up to today and will last just a few more hours. A countdown that has kept all Ferrari fans on their toes, as the Tifosi hope to see the SF-23 take another decisive step further after the progress seen in the first part of last season.

2. The new single-seater will be presented tomorrow, on Valentine’s Day: you can follow the live broadcast on ScuderiaFans.com from 11.15 AM CET. Click here for the most important international timings for the Ferrari car presentation.

3. 11.25 AM CET is the time set by the Maranello team for the event

4. We’ve known for some time that the project was internally called 675 by the Ferrari technicians, engineers and mechanics.

5. The official name of the new single-seater from Maranello is SF-23

6. On 15 February, after the presentation of the 2023 car, the single-seater will take to the track for a filming day. But the doubt remains whether the SF-23 can go on track immediately after the presentation tomorrow.

7. A first image, a shape of the Ferrari’s nose, was posted on the Scuderia’s social accounts on 14 January. A clue of the 2023 F1 challenger?

8. Another detail was posted on social media on 30 January: the logo with the Prancing Horse is square again and marks a return to the past. Same as from 1983 to 1996.

9. The driver line-up has been confirmed for the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship: Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will continue to drive for Scuderia Ferrari in their third consecutive year as teammates.

10. The new team principal is Frederic Vasseur. A 54-year-old French engineer, he comes from Alfa Sauber and takes the place of Mattia Binotto. In the past he has already had the opportunity to work with Charles Leclerc during the Monegasque driver’s first year in Formula 1.

11. After the official car launch, the focus will then shift to the pre-season testing session, which will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit from 23 to 25 February – a preview for the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship which will start on 5 March once again at the Sakhir track. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have already driven the 2021 car on their home track at Fiorano for a three day test.

12. Meanwhile, Scuderia Ferrari has also revealed its official teamwear and race kit for the next championship. You can buy the new Ferrari teamwear here.

13. A red cover and, perhaps, the new SF-23 that appeared yesterday on the official Scuderia app. A juicy appetizer while waiting for the big day tomorrow!
