Ferrari has extended its collaboration with young French driver Lilou Wadoux, announcing a multi-year contract renewal that will see her continue her journey as an official driver for the Prancing Horse in 2026 and beyond. The decision confirms Ferrari’s strong confidence in the driver born in 2001 in Amiens and rewards the results she has achieved so far with the Maranello-based manufacturer.
The agreement comes at the highest point of her career in Ferrari colours. In 2025, Lilou Wadoux claimed her first title with Ferrari by winning the IMSA Endurance Cup Drivers’ classification in the GTD class, driving the AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 together with her teammates Alessandro Pier Guidi and Simon Mann.
Lilou Wadoux and her journey with Ferrari
Since making her debut as an official Ferrari driver in 2023, Lilou Wadoux has made 32 race starts in Ferrari cars, securing four victories and a total of seven podium finishes. That same year, the French driver claimed victory in the LMGTE Am class at the 6 Hours of Spa with the Ferrari 488 GTE, becoming the first female driver to win a race in the FIA World Endurance Championship since the series was launched in 2012. A result that marked a significant milestone for women in endurance racing.
Her journey with Ferrari has also included two outings at the wheel of the Ferrari 499P Hypercar during the FIA WEC Rookie Test sessions in Bahrain at the end of the 2023 and 2025 seasons. These experiences with prototype machinery represent a potential future pathway, with the hope of one day fulfilling the dream of becoming the first woman to secure an overall victory in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Below are the statements from Lilou Wadoux and from Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Ferrari Endurance and Corse Clienti.
Lilou Wadoux:
“Continuing my journey with Ferrari makes me happy and proud. In my first three years as an official driver for the Prancing Horse, I have always felt part of an extraordinary family. During this time, I have also achieved some important race victories and an IMSA title that means a great deal to me. The goal is to continue along this path to win many more races, while continuing to write new chapters of motorsport history with Ferrari.”
Antonello Coletta:
“We are pleased to renew our collaboration with Lilou, who has now been part of the Ferrari family for three full seasons. Over this three-year period, our driver has shown significant growth, which has led her to achieve victories in different championships, as well as to secure a title in a demanding and highly important series such as IMSA. We are confident that the future will bring many more satisfactions.”
