Ferrari expands partnership with Bitdefender amid protection of company’s global operations

In September 2022, Ferrari announced the arrival of a new Team Partner by signing a a multi-year agreement with Bitdefender.

Romanian cybersecurity technology company Bitdefender, headquartered in Bucharest, Romania, with offices in the United States, Europe, Australia and the Middle East, a leader in global cybersecurity, officially confirmed that it has expanded its collaboration with Ferrari S.p.A. in order to provide Bitdefender Advanced Threat Intelligence to the Italian company’s operations worldwide.

Ferrari S.p.A. will integrate Bitdefender Advanced Threat Intelligence into its Security Operations Center (SOC) to assist Ferrari security analysts in quickly validating and prioritizing alerts, enhancing threat hunting capabilities, and expediting incident response.

According to recent research surveying over 400 IT and security professionals globally, extending cybersecurity capabilities across multiple environments (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid) is a significant challenge faced by many organizations. By leveraging more timely and accurate threat intelligence, Ferrari’s security team will be able to detect malware, malicious campaigns, and abnormal behaviors more rapidly, preventing threats from compromising the organization or spreading across its distributed environment, whether it be in the office or on the racetrack, on-premises or in the cloud.
