Ferrari expands its sponsor portfolio with WHOOP deal starting in 2026. Ferrari and WHOOP join forces ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season.

Fred Vasseur, Ferrari team boss 2025 F1

A new partnership has been confirmed for Maranello. Ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season, Ferrari has signed an agreement with WHOOP, which becomes an official sponsor of the Scuderia.

Ferrari and WHOOP will work together starting from 2026, with another sponsor joining the Maranello-based team in Formula 1. The American company officially becomes a team partner and will supply wearable devices focused on fitness and health. The tools provided by WHOOP will be made available to members of the Scuderia Ferrari, with the two organizations working closely together to improve physical efficiency and recovery.

Man and machine: in order to succeed in Formula 1, perfect synergy is required. While the SF-26 will need to outperform its rivals from an engineering perspective, the men and women of the Prancing Horse will also need to refine their physical and mental capabilities. And what better way to do so than by relying on WHOOP, a leading company in the fitness sector, which for years has been developing devices capable of monitoring multiple aspects of training and overall well-being.

This is therefore not just a commercial agreement, but a genuine step forward in the continuous improvement of the team. According to the official statement released through Ferrari’s channels, the medical team in Maranello and the experts from the American company will work in close collaboration. The goal is to improve physical efficiency and recovery by analyzing data related to sleep, stress levels, and recovery processes.

Ferrari and WHOOP: a new data-driven approach

Providing further insight into the details of the new partnership is Lorenzo Giorgetti, Ferrari’s Chief Racing Revenue Officer:

“The partnership with WHOOP allows us to extend our data-driven approach beyond the car, into areas more closely linked to the human factor, combining our experience in high-performance engineering with WHOOP’s expertise in human health.”

“This collaboration represents another step in our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, with the aim of creating the best possible conditions for the team, both on and off the track.”

Scuderia Ferrari HP’s decision to partner with WHOOP for the 2026 season signals a shift toward a more holistic view of performance, where human biology is treated with the same precision as aerodynamic flow. By leveraging wearable technology to manage the grueling 24-race calendar, Maranello is betting that a well-recovered and mentally sharp team will be the “secret weapon” needed to navigate the challenges of the new technical regulations. With the SF-26 launch just days away, this partnership underscores a clear message: in the 2026 era, every data point—whether from the engine or the athlete—matters.
