Scuderia Ferrari is on a steady rise in Formula 1. While the Maranello team had a very disappointing season in 2020, this championship Ferrari is involved in a very close fight with McLaren for third place in the Formula 1 Constructor Standings.
Last week, Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc was asked about the Maranello team’s car for the 2022 Formula One season. He confirmed that he drove it quite a few times in the simulator and that the car feels extremely different as compared to the current SF21 [it is much faster in high speed corners but quite slower in low speed corners]. For now the development is going as Scuderia Ferrari want it.
Charles Leclerc explained: “For now the development is going as we want, but it is always difficult to say something until we really put the car out on track in the first test next year because we have no comparison with the others. But for now everything is feeling good.” – the Monegasque driver said.
