In recent seasons, Ferrari has launched limited-edition merchandise for the Monaco event, as it represents Charles Leclerc’s home Grand Prix. The same could happen again in 2025, judging by a preview provided by a series of photos that have appeared online.
Last season, Charles Leclerc won his home race for the first time. That day was a breakthrough for the Monegasque driver and for all Ferrari fans, considering the ‘bad luck’ number 16 had experienced in Monte Carlo until then. Will Ferrari once again celebrate its driver this year with personal merchandise?
Charles Leclerc’s possible cap for the Monaco GP
In 2024, Ferrari unveiled a cap in two variants for the Monaco event to honour Charles Leclerc at his home Grand Prix. Both versions featured the colours of the Principality, which are very similar to those of the Maranello team. One had red as the main colour, with white as the secondary, and the other reversed the combination. The year before, in 2023, Ferrari had launched not only a cap but also a limited-edition T-shirt, also featuring the typical Monegasque colours and Charles Leclerc’s race number.
In 2025, Ferrari might once again be preparing limited-edition items for Monaco. On a French classified ads site (Leboncoin), photos have surfaced in recent hours showing what could be the cap Charles Leclerc will wear during the Grand Prix. This one differs from previous years, especially in terms of colour. In addition to a vintage style, the main shade is a sort of light turquoise-blue. Both traits are typical of the French Riviera, and perhaps this year Ferrari wants to celebrate that heritage.
Even the Prancing Horse logo appears in these unusual colours, along with the unavoidable Unicredit and HP sponsors. On the front, we also see the number ‘16’, Leclerc’s number, in a style the Monegasque driver introduced this year.
