Yesterday, Ferrari Driver Academy member Robert Shwartzman returned to the track at the wheel of a Ferrari SF71H car for the whole day, which was the last of this three-day Scuderia Ferrari test at the Fiorano circuit. The young Russian driver completed 121 laps during the entire day, equivalent to 361 kilometres. The start of the testing session was delayed by around half an hour due to persistent fog: this meant that the first corner could not be seen from the garage, which is the standard safety check for visibility at the Ferrari-owned track.
Summary. Over the three days of running with the Ferrari SF71H car, the Scuderia’s drivers completed a total of 272 laps, equivalent to 811 kilometres. Robert Shwartzman completed a total of 165 between yesterday and Wednesday, while the main drivers of the Maranello team, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, drove respectively for 59 and 48 laps on Thursday. The next time Scuderia Ferrari will be back on track will be with the 2022 Formula 1 car, which is due to be launched at 14 CET on 17th February.
