
Fred Vasseur does not give up. The Frenchman is a fighter: he believes in the potential of the SF-24 and, despite the disappointments from Silverstone, looks to the future with commendable optimism. The Scuderia wants to forget the negative period, counting on the fact that the Hungaroring track should not work against the car’s characteristics.
While the British GP saw a step back with a return to the Imola upgrade package, after comparative tests advised using the less evolved version on fast tracks to avoid bouncing, the latest floor that debuted in Barcelona will be back in action in Hungary…
“The week off before Hungary allowed us to thoroughly analyze all the data collected in the last three races. We found that the recently introduced upgrade package brought the expected benefits in terms of downforce, but also triggered side effects that worsened Charles and Carlos’s driving comfort.”
The Racing Division is under pressure: Ferrari in Hungary must find the thread to start improving performance again, as the SF-24 has quickly slipped to the fourth force in the championship…

Fred Vasseur emphasizes that the Maranello team is not only focusing on theoretically more performant solutions but has also done additional homework by modifying the floor. It seems that some flexing was identified in the outer part of the floorboard, and reinforcements have been introduced to limit any form of bouncing…
“This season continues to be fought on the edge of hundredths of a second, and having Charles and Carlos fully confident can allow us to achieve better results, especially in qualifying when it’s about pushing to the limit.
