F1 | Why are Ferrari pit stops slow? Lego-themed animation explains it – VIDEO. Lego-themed animation explains it.

A Lego enthusiast and Formula 1 fan has humorously explained why Ferrari’s pit stops are consistently slow through an animated video. Following the Dutch Grand Prix, “ddn tube” posted a video on their YouTube channel with a title that seemed to suggest an in-depth analysis of Ferrari’s tire change error at Zandvoort. However, it turned out to be a playful parody of the incident.

Upon opening the video, it becomes apparent that it is nothing more than a humorous animation poking fun at the Ferrari mechanics’ crew, who took approximately 13 seconds to complete a pit stop. The video particularly focuses on the absence of intermediate tires during the change, with the creator attempting to answer the question, “Where did those tires disappear to?”

The video revolves around stereotypes associated with the Italian people. In the video, you can see the mechanics leisurely sitting at a table, playing cards, eating pizza, and listening to the song “That’s Amore.” The fun stops when a siren goes off to “awaken” the mechanics from their moment of relaxation. In their own sweet time, they eventually retrieve the eagerly awaited tires.
