
The Friday evening qualifying session has set the starting grid for the F1 Sprint race at the United States Grand Prix.
This weekend, the action moves to the United States, with the Circuit of the Americas in Austin hosting an event that promises excitement, high-speed action, and a new on-track battle. Italian fans should prepare for an evening schedule due to the six-hour time difference between Austin and Italy. While it will be early afternoon for the drivers, fans in Italy will have to wait until the evening to see the cars on track. The story of qualifying
During Sprint qualifying, teams are required to use medium tyres in Q1 and Q2, while the final Q3 session must be run on soft tyres. Ferrari struggled in Q2, with Kimi Antonelli narrowly missing out on Q3 by a few thousandths of a second. Max Verstappen claimed pole position, with the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri completing the top three.
