Formula 1 testing resumes in Bahrain, as the Sakhir circuit prepares to host the second and final official pre-season test of the 2026 F1 season. It is a crucial moment for all the teams, who are working to finalize their understanding of the new-generation cars introduced under the latest regulations.
After these final three days of track action, the focus will shift entirely to putting together the complete performance package ahead of the first Grand Prix of the season. The 2026 Formula 1 World Championship will officially kick off in Australia at the Melbourne circuit from March 6 to 8. But first, all eyes are on Bahrain. Let’s take a closer look at the full schedule and how to follow the second F1 test live.
What time does the Bahrain F1 test start and how to watch it live on TV
For the first time this season, Formula 1 will provide full live coverage of all eight hours across each of the three testing days. The Barcelona test sessions took place without any TV broadcast, while last week’s opening test offered television coverage only during the final hour of each day. This time, however, fans will be able to follow every minute of on-track action.
The timetable remains unchanged: the morning session will run from 8:00 to 12:00, followed by the afternoon session from 13:00 to 17:00.
For these final three days of F1 pre-season testing, Sky Sport will deliver complete live coverage of all eight hours per day.
All eight daily hours will be broadcast live on Sky Sport F1 and streamed on NOW. In addition, fans will be able to follow the action live on YouTube and on Sky Sport’s TikTok pages. In short, there will be plenty of ways for F1 fans to get a close look at the new 2026 cars in action.
