F1 tech: new spec of mirrors for Ferrari F1-75 at Silverstone | 2022 British GP. New spec of mirrors for Ferrari F1-75 at Silverstone.

While waiting to understand if there are any innovations brought by Scuderia Ferrari at the Silverstone circuit for the 2022 Formula 1 British Grand Prix, the Italian media pointed out a detailed modification on the F1-75 which, however, expresses how accurate the development work of the technicians led by Enrico Cardile is.

In fact, in the Ferrari box at the Silverstone circuit, the F1-75 car was presented with a further evolution of the supports of the rear-view mirrors. In Canada, the attachment to the frame had been brought to the edge of the driver compartment with a support that was transformed into a flow diverter, while the rear-view mirror was supported on the outermost part.

Now, however, the mirror fixing is located in the innermost part, because under the rear-view mirror two small profiles have appeared that are useful to direct the flows in a different way, according to the expectations studied in the wind tunnel by the aerodynamics of David Sanchez.

Scuderia Ferrari must stop Max Verstappen’s winning series with Red Bull and must resume the winning path interrupted in Australia if he wants to keep Charles Leclerc‘s chances of the world championship alive.
