• since its inaugural race in 2004, there have been 19 Formula 1 races held at the Bahrain International Circuit. The Bahrain Grand Prix has been held 18 times, while the inaugural Sakhir Grand Prix was held on the outer layout of the circuit in 2020.
• Scudera Ferrari and Mercedes are tied as the teams with the most top three finishes in Sakhir: both the Maranello team and Mercedes have finished on the podium at Bahrain International Circuit 16 times.
• the Bahrain Grand Prix has been won from pole position eight times: just three of the last eight races in Sakhir have been won after starting from pole position. A driver starting on the front row has won 12 times from the 19 races held here.
