After a three-week break, the Formula One circus is back in action.
The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix is the second round of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship. It is held at the Imola circuit and for us it’s the most home grand prix possible! Imola returned to F1 in 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic led to a complete re-jig of the calendar.
Formula 1 returns to Imola after an absence of 14 years. For 26 years in a row, the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit hosted the San Marino Grand Prix, a regular fixture on the championship calendar from 1981 to 2006. In 1980 Imola hosted the Italian Grand Prix. The circuit has been completely renovated to meet the F1 safety standards, which means it can once again host the circus.
After last year’s struggles, Scuderia Ferrari is on the road to redemption with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.
Join us for the latest updates and results from the Imola Circuit, as the 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is about to get underway, with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc at the wheel of the SF21, ready to score as many points as possible in the second round of the 2021 Formula 1 season.
