Today, the names of the turns comprising the Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit were officially unveiled. There’s no homage to former drivers or the history of Formula 1. Instead, a nod to what makes Las Vegas one of the most iconic cities globally, with its casinos and the glittering figures that traverse its streets.
Stretching over 6.2 km (second only to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps), the new addition to the calendar winds its way through hotels, casinos, and unique buildings worldwide. One example is Turn 5, named “Caesar Forum,” the epicenter of Las Vegas’ business with hundreds of conference rooms and events in the economic and corporate realm. Moving on, we reach Turn 8, “MSG Sphere,” the brand-new and distinctive ellipsoidal-shaped arena that allows for a fully immersive concert experience.
There’s also a touch of Italy in Las Vegas! Between Turn 10 and Turn 12, you pass by the “Palazzo Venetian,” the gigantic hotel in the heart of Las Vegas characterized by artificial canals, gondolas, and gondoliers.
There are many turns on the track: a total of 17, including 11 left turns and 6 right turns, with two DRS zones. With such a high number, the Americans had to put in extra effort to name them all! From Venice, we also move to Paris. Along the straight of the Strip, between Turn 13 (The Mirage) and Turn 14 (Cosmopolitan), there is the “Paris” area. Named so because of the presence of an Eiffel Tower in the city center.

The starting turn is named “Harbor Island Apartments,” an area consisting of 996 apartments that can be rented and located in an area with private pools and gyms. The last turn is “Top Golf,” a location dedicated to the world of golf with both outdoor and indoor courses and training areas, located at the famous MGM resort in Las Vegas.
Here is the official map with all the names of the 17 turns that make up the circuit we will witness live next weekend.
