F1 GP Miami, race live
Good evening to all of you, dear readers of ScuderiaFans.com. We are live to bring you the race, the decisive moment of the F1 Miami GP weekend, which will begin at 19:00 local time. The race is expected to finish, barring interruptions, around 20:30 after the drivers complete the scheduled 57 laps of the Miami International Autodrome.
However, the “expected” finish time comes with a major question mark, given the decision by the organisers together with the FIA and Formula 1 to bring forward the start by three hours in order to avoid the thunderstorms forecast to hit Florida in the mid-afternoon. The weather will still be a key factor, as it already rained heavily in the morning, and it cannot be ruled out that further rain could still affect the Grand Prix despite the revised start time.
Starting from pole position is Andrea Kimi Antonelli, securing his third consecutive pole position at a time when Mercedes was expected to struggle defensively this weekend. Alongside him is a resurgent Max Verstappen in a much-improved Red Bull, with Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris on the second row, with the Monegasque hoping to continue a strange Miami statistic in which no driver has ever won from the front row.
Will that trend continue today? Find out with, as we follow and comment live lap-by-lap on the 2026 F1 Miami Grand Prix in the video below.
