The journalist from Sassuolo spoke about the recruitment campaign carried out by Frederic Vasseur and related to various members of the team. The Ferrari team principal has started the “restoration” of the Maranello team, with the attempt to bring the team back to the top.

“After a few weeks of arriving in Maranello, Vasseur had a meeting with the Ferrari management, where he said that in his opinion, it was necessary to focus on the technical market and bring qualified individuals to Ferrari who could add expertise to the team. Obviously, he was given the green light. Then there is always the usual question of who is available, identifying those who can truly make a leap in quality. Many names have been mentioned.” – Leo Turrini added.

“Beyond the individuals, the key element is that the Ferrari leadership has decided to abandon the Segio Marchionne philosophy. What did he publicly say as Ferrari president? I don’t believe it’s necessary to seek professional figures elsewhere to be competitive in Formula 1 again. I don’t believe that the world’s best engineers who produce the most beautiful cars in the world are not capable of building winning F1 cars. They have implemented this philosophy. Take the example of Enrico Cardile. Before being moved to Formula 1, the engineer was working on Ferrari’s road cars.” – the Italian journalist pointed out.

“I always say one thing. Now they have definitively abandoned the Marchionne method. At the same time, when he fell ill, Ferrari was leading both championships. That must be acknowledged.
