In the build-up to the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, fans will have the opportunity to upgrade tickets they have already purchased. Here is how it works.
Following the announcement that Sunday’s race day tickets have sold out, spectators who have purchased tickets for Friday and Saturday will now be able to upgrade their passes ahead of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza. The aim of the initiative is to fill the grandstands to capacity, creating an impressive visual spectacle and atmosphere that organisers hope will help inspire Scuderia Ferrari to replicate last year’s performance on home soil.
This initiative is aimed specifically at those who hold general admission passes for the grassy areas of the circuit and does not apply to Sunday’s Grand Prix day. The announcement was made through the official channels of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza less than a month before the prestigious event.
The statement from the circuit read: “Autodromo Nazionale Monza announces a special initiative dedicated exclusively to those who are already in possession of Circolare Prato (General Admission) tickets for the Formula 1 Pirelli Italian Grand Prix 2025, scheduled from 5 to 7 September. Starting from 12:00 today (14 August), it will be possible to upgrade by purchasing a seat in the grandstand for either Friday 5 September (free practice) or Saturday 6 September (qualifying), paying only the price difference compared to their current general admission ticket. This is an unmissable opportunity to experience the thrill of Formula 1 from a privileged viewing position. The offer is available for individual event days on Friday and Saturday only, excluding Sunday and multi-day passes — and is valid until seats are sold out.”
Those interested can follow the step-by-step procedure provided via the link in the official announcement to complete the upgrade process.
