Following the cancellation of the 2023 event, Formula 1 will return to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in May 2024. Formula 1 and the Imola Racetrack have confirmed there are still tickets available for the next edition of the GP dedicated to Made in Italy. Let’s delve into the ticket details with some practical advice and a guide to the grandstands for the 2024 Imola GP.
The Italian circuit, dedicated to Enzo and Dino Ferrari, has always been the scene of great battles during the Sunday GP. But how to best choose the seats to purchase? For the 2024 Grand Prix, organizers have made available 7 sectors from which to choose. Starting with the track tour, it is appropriate to begin with the central grandstand on the starting straight, which offers a perfect view of the GP start and allows for a clear view of the pit stop moments as well.
Additionally, the grandstands in sector 1 are covered, a great option in case of rain. The grandstands in sector 2 are also quite interesting, positioned in the middle of the pit lane yet still offering a view of the GP start.
Moving along, we find grandstands before the Villeneuve chicane, which offer a limited view of the on-track action. Between the two, Villeneuve 2 is preferable, allowing a glimpse of the following chicane. More enticing are the grandstands positioned at Tosa corner (sector 3), where one can see the cars coming from Tamburello curve up to Piratella’s crest. Moreover, Tosa is a prime overtaking spot, which might encourage choosing this grandstand even more. Continuing, there is the Tosa meadow (sector 6), a spot where the cars are full throttle towards Piratella. Here, if positioned near the exit of Tosa, you should also see some overtaking.
For sector 3, tickets are also available in the Acque Minerali area. The grandstands are all positioned at the exit of this variant, an excellent spot to closely appreciate the speed of these F1 cars through the curves and on the restarts. Moving up towards the Gresini Variant, another interesting point that might offer some overtaking during hard braking or driver errors. Among these, we recommend Gresini 2, which allows you to see also part of the descent towards Rivazza 1.

Which grandstand to choose at Imola?
Continuing downhill, you reach the grandstands of sector 5, Rivazza 1 and Rivazza 2. The latter allows you to watch the cars speeding from the Gresini Variant and braking sharply to avoid ending up in the gravel. Rivazza 1 offers a slightly different view, allowing a glimpse of the last curve’s exit and part of the starting straight.

The Rivazza Meadow is also excellently positioned on a hill, offering a wide view of the action from Rivazza 1 to the finish line. However, to witness all this, it’s necessary to position yourself as high up as possible and arrive very early, especially on Sunday for the GP. Additionally, the Rivazza meadow adds a significant dose of spectacle with the passage of the tricolor arrows right over the spectators’ heads. Finally, there is also sector 7, marked in pink on the map, which allows you to explore the circuit along its route. This section starts from the starting line and goes up to the Villeneuve variant and from Acque Minerali down to the descent of Rivazza 1.
