Have you purchased the “grass” category ticket for the Monza Grand Prix but are struggling to understand how to navigate? Here are some tips to make the most of this experience!
This ticket category often causes a bit of apprehension among those who are buying them for the first time due to the vast amount of space available. The layout of the Monza park is certainly different from that of Imola, where the view from the grass is good thanks to the numerous small hills. In reality, you can still enjoy the spectacle of the temple of speed from the grass! Aside from the reserved stands, this type of ticket provides access to most of the areas adjacent to the track.
Are there still grandstands for the grass?
Until last year, there were many grandstands along the track dedicated to those who had grass tickets. We don’t know if they will still be present this year, but since they are located in excellent positions and recommended for those who want to fully experience the grass area, we list them below.
Among the best locations, we recommend the interior of Lesmo, where there will almost certainly be a small grandstand. This is a great spot considering there is a big screen right in front of it, making it convenient for following the race. You will be practically right next to the circuit, offering a privileged view of the single-seaters.
As for alternatives, we don’t have certainty, but until last year there was a small grandstand at the entrance to the wonderful Ascari chicane.
Our advice, however, is to arrive at the circuit as early as possible in order to secure front-row spots right by the track and the few seats in the grandstands (if they are still available). Towards the end of the race, start moving towards the podium area to fully enjoy it once the race is finished.
