F1, Ferrari SF-25 presentation: here is the detailed two-day program. Ferrari is ready to make its presence felt in Formula 1 for the 2025 championship.

Ferrari is ready to make its presence felt in Formula 1 for the 2025 championship. Just like parents eagerly awaiting their newborn, the anticipation for the unveiling of the Prancing Horse’s new car is becoming increasingly excruciating. Everything and more has been written about the SF-25, yet curiosity and the inevitable surprises make the event, as always, highly fascinating. This year, on the occasion of the 75th edition of the championship, Liberty Media has organized a showcase in London, at the multi-purpose O2 arena, where all the liveries of the upcoming season’s single-seaters will be presented.

The new technical projects will continue to be unveiled in dedicated events, preserving the sacred nature of one of the most eagerly awaited moments for fans and insiders. We like to think that the teams have chosen this approach to safeguard one of the premier class’s traditions, even though sponsor visibility is clearly greater in a dedicated event rather than in a collective showcase. At 3:00 PM yesterday, Ferrari’s press office released the schedule for the presentation of technical project 677, which has been named, in continuity with the past, Ferrari SF-25.

The car, which embodies the ambitions of the historic Maranello-based team in its third year under team principal Frederic Vasseur’s management, appears to have reached a level of maturity capable of aiming for any kind of result. After all, Lewis Hamilton’s arrival can be seen as evidence of the competitiveness required and, at the same time, as proof that the team has what it takes to convince a driver whose only goal is to win the world championship. The longer the drought, the greater the hunger for victory—entire generations have never seen the legendary Maranello team claim a world title.

The SF-25 presentation schedule will span two days. The London event, lasting about two hours, will be attended by Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, and Frédéric Vasseur. The show car featuring the new livery is expected to be the Ferrari F1-75, but last-minute surprises cannot be ruled out. Immediately after unveiling the new livery, the historic team will make available, through its official channels, a description of the single-seater and its technical specifications, such as:

Chassis characteristics
Gearbox
Differential
Brakes
Suspensions
Power unit specifications
ERS specifications

On the same day, the rendering of the new single-seater and the drivers’ helmets will be unveiled. Also on February 18, the Prancing Horse will present the profiles of its key figures:

Frédéric Vasseur
Charles Leclerc
Lewis Hamilton
Jérôme d’Ambrosio – Vice Team Principal
Loïc Serra – Technical Director, Chassis
Enrico Gualtieri – Technical Director, Power Unit
Diego Ioverno – Sporting Director
Matteo Togninalli – Head of Track Engineering
Ravin Jain – Head of Race Strategy
Bryan Bozzi – Race Engineer for Charles Leclerc’s car
Riccardo Adami – Race Engineer for Lewis Hamilton’s car

Multimedia material will be made available, including the video rendering of the SF-25 and Q&A sessions with:

Frédéric Vasseur (in English and French)
Charles Leclerc (in English, Italian, and French)
Lewis Hamilton (in English)
Loïc Serra (in English and French)
Enrico Gualtieri (in English and Italian)

The following day, the SF-25 will take to the track at its home circuit in Fiorano for the first filming day of the season, during which it will be allowed to cover a total of 200 kilometers, as prescribed by sporting regulations in paragraph 10.4 regarding “TCC Promotional Events.” On this day, Ferrari’s driver duo will take turns behind the wheel of the new machine, necessarily running some laps at limited speed to allow for the filming that serves as the promotional purpose of the test.

A first contact that is nonetheless crucial for the initial basic functional tests of the new single-seater. Throughout the day, through the official channels of the historic Maranello based F1 team, the following will be made available:

Video of the SF-25 on track and behind-the-scenes footage
Photos of the SF-25 with management and drivers
A selection of images

After that, all that remains is to wait for the collective tests in Bahrain to determine whether the hard winter work can fuel the legitimate ambitions of the team led by Frédéric Vasseur.
