After the numerous departures confirmed in last few days, Ferrari is looking for new team members: even chief executive officer Benedetto Vigna has published a job announcement on his LinkedIn profile! The CEO of Ferrari moved to the front line to specifically look for a Sensor Application Engineer by using his profile on the job search portal.

“In this technical engineering role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing & integrating new sensor strategies at vehicle level, and to collect and evaluate requirements from our different internal R&D teams in order to provide solutions aligned with project priorities, ensuring innovation implementation as well as key constraints in terms of cost, quality & schedule. You will furthermore support the Hardware & Software developments and ensure solutions (and potential “de-bugging”) of components featuring complex electronic sub-system. In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically, managing projects with attention on evidence of decision making processes and accountability.”

“In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Ph.D or Master-degree in Electronic, Computer Science or Automation Engineering or equivalent. And you will have gained at least 3 years’ (or more) dedicated experience on the design, development of complex MCU/MPU based embedded system. Solid knowledge of analog and digital electronics, FW development (C,C++) is a clear advantage. It’s important to be familiar with laboratory equipment and test automation solutions (including LabView, Phyton for example). Since you will interact with different departments at all levels within and outside the company, excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and positive attitude are a must-have. Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.”
