F1 | Ferrari convinced SF-23 can become second fastest car on track starting from Azerbaijan. Ferrari convinced SF-23 can become second fastest car.

The Maranello team is preparing for redemption after the first three rounds of the 2023 Formula 1 championshi with a bittersweet taste for Ferrari. While on the one hand the first two grands prix were totally forgettable, the last weekend in Australia provided a glimpse of the SF-23’s true potential and was an encouraging sign in view of the next races.

In fact, Ferrari are convinced that they can return to being the second fastest car on the grid starting from Azerbaijan, after the step forward in Melbourne and the improvements envisaged for the Baku GP.

The next three rounds will be very indicative to establish once and for all the success or failure of the 675 project. As anticipated for some time, the Italian team should introduce a new diffuser in Baku. The novelty would be part of a first major development program that will reach its climax in Barcelona.

At Imola, on the other hand, a new revised suspension should make its debut. At the Circuit de Catalunya, on the other hand, we should see an SF-23 single-seater with more Red Bull-style sidepods, while still maintaining the philosophy of the car from Maranello. Furthermore, with the floor set up in Australia, Ferrari seems to have solved some of the correlation problems between the track and the simulator.

Both performance and balance benefited from the updated floor, also demonstrated by Carlos Sainz‘s stint on the hards andreported by formu1a.uno: ”After having finished correcting the error that caused the aerodynamic instability in the SF-23 seen since the Bahrain tests, the gap should reduce quickly. It might appear unrealistic, yet in Maranello they are thinking of returning to having the second fastest car already from Baku “.

In fact, the Ferrari engineers remain confident in the great potential of the project. The SF-23 is a single-seater which, according to the simulator, should have been over 1 second faster than the previous car. However, all of this has not been seen on the track so far, with an SF-23 relegated to the role of fourth force.

In Maranello they hope that the Azerbaijan weekend can represent the starting point of a season that can only improve from now on, considering the results of the first three grands prix. If the RB19-Max Verstappen duo appears impossible to defeat at the moment, the short-term goal is at least to return to compete for the podium.

Convinced – that smacks of a defeatist attitude- HOW ABOUT WE STRIVE TO BE THE FASTEST CAR ON THE GRID -HOW ABOUT ELKANN — THE TIFOSI DON’T WANT THE SECOND FASTEST CAR. THEY WANT THE FASTEST CAR ON THE GRID ,END OF STORY

WHO IS CONTENT TO BE THE 2nd fastest car FERRARI BY THE SOUNDS OF IT – WHAT A DISGRACE

CONTENT TO BE 2nd —- WELL DONE ELKANN – GREAT JOB -HOW ABOUT THE DESIRE TO BE THE FASTEST ,BE RUTHLESS ,STRIVE TO BE NO.1

OBVIOUSLY Elkann – ferrari are CONTENT TO BE 2ND BEST – THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS IT UP . CONTENT TO BE 2nd – NO KILLER INSTINCT ,NO RUTHLESSNESS, NO DESIRE TO NO. 1, NO WONDER , ELKANN, IN MY OPINION I WOULD RATE YOUR LEADERSHIP AS 2nd RATE. , SINCE YOU LOVE BE 2nd.

I AM CALLING AND DEMANDING CHANGE , AND IF ELKANN IS GUTLESS, THEN MAYBE SOMEONE LIKE ME , WHO ONLY WANTS TO BE NO.1 IS PROBABLY A BETTER FIT.

Go off and enjoy being 2nd in the que to get your pasta , I’LL BE IN FRONT OF YOU THATS THE DIFFERENCE ELKANN

Ferrari convinced? Always the truthful LIE …you are forgetting that mercedes and alpine are upgrading as well …I never saw a bilshit lying pride team as Ferrari even our tifosi are making fun of Ferrari…I am the first and I support Ferrari but the truth is they are a disgrace…. stubborn with that fucking stupid pride….yes read well you scumbags !! Who is the best pride or sleeper? You have the answer year by year…and president if Ferrari is saying is aiming for 2026 now after they changed every thing for nothing …this is absolutely madness ..for me if they are keeping there pride they can go fuck them selves because they are starting to lose tifosi because we have a fucking limit ..we are tired with your pride and with pride you start to lie like you began years ago when we had Alonso. ..you can bring God as a driver but you need to change that fucking attitude because at the end YOU HAVE NOTHING MORE THAN OTHER PEOPLE..WE HAVE THE SAME BALLS SO COPY OTHERS LIKE EVERYBODY AND FOR THE LAST TIME FUCK YOUR PRIDE
