F1 | Ferrari, Carlos Sainz: “2021 was the best year of my F1 career”. Carlos on his 2021 season.

The Formula 1 season that will end this weekend in Abu Dhabi has been a positive first year alongside Scuderia Ferrari for Carlos Sainz. The Spaniard, discussing about his 2021 championship driving the SF21 car, admitted that the season can be considered his best so far in Formula 1, in which he adapted to a very demanding reality like that of the Maranello team. Furthermore, the Maranello Spanish driver recognized how this experience is serving to increase both on a human and professional level.

“I would say that it was the best year of my career, both from the point of view of my progress as a driver and as a person, because I found myself living a completely different adventure from all the previous ones, in the most historic Formula One team and with much more pressure” – said Carlos Sainz, in the press conference ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – “I believe I have grown steadily over the season, improving the work relationship with the team and the knowledge of the car which has increased and in recent races has reached an excellent level. I want to enjoy this last weekend of 2021 and finish the year with a good result, perhaps even trying to think about fifth or sixth place in the standings” – Scuderia Ferrari Spanish driver Carlos Sainz concluded.
