Charles Leclerc, once back in the garage after Canadian qualifying, could not hide his emotions. Here is the VIDEO of his reaction.
The Canadian weekend was very complicated for Charles Leclerc and Ferrari. After the incident in the early minutes of FP1 on Friday, the Monegasque driver was also forced to miss FP2. And that wasn’t all. During his final flying lap in qualifying, Charles Leclerc made a mistake that forced him to abort the lap. Without enough time or fuel for another attempt, car number #16 returned to the pits and ended Q3 in eighth place.
In recent days, a video appeared on ESPN’s social media channels showing the Monegasque’s state of mind at the end of qualifying in Canada.
Charles Leclerc’s mix of emotions
The early-season excitement is gradually fading. Riding the wave of momentum from the last two races, in which Charles Leclerc had secured two podiums, Ferrari had placed high hopes on the tenth round of the championship. However, the expected results did not come. Driver errors, combined with the known issues of the SF-25 and damage to the seven-time World Champion’s car, prevented both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton from finishing higher than fifth and sixth in the Canadian GP.
The tenth race of the 2025 F1 season revealed some frustration in the Monegasque driver. In a video on TikTok, posted by ESPN, a very angry, disappointed, and frustrated Charles Leclerc is shown walking toward the Ferrari garage. Before the mistake, Charles Leclerc had set the fastest time in the first sector, making the error even harder to accept. As a result, Charles Leclerc dropped from a potential front row to a fourth-row start.
