The bookmakers have made Sebastian Vettel favourite to win the Australian Grand Prix next weekend. The season kicks off in Melbourne, and William Hill believes Sebastian will win his second race at Albert Park in as many seasons.
Mercedes didn’t produce many eye-catching times in Barcelona, and perhaps this has influenced the odds slightly. Though we do know that Mercedes usually hide everything until Q3. Max Verstappen comes in ahead of Valtteri Bottas, but what stands out most is the gap between Verstappen and Pierre Gasly. Is Gasly worth an outside bet?
Charles Leclerc, in his first Ferrari race, is the third favourite to win the race. Nico Hulkenberg is highest out of the rest of the field. While you could win yourself £1,001 if either Williams car wins the race. Going on last year’s performance, and lack of track time in pre-season, it’s not surprising.
