Small updates and adjustments for Scuderia Ferrari in Baku: the Maranello team introduced several new mirror mounts on the F1-75 car ahead of the 2022 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The short arched one that rises from the outer part of the sidepods has not been changed, but rather the long one that attached to the chassis on the outer edge of the body, while now the anchoring point has been moved towards the cockpit.
The reason is easy to understand, since the rear-view mirror attachment becomes part of a real flow diverter which has the additional task of directing the air according to the values evaluated by the Ferrari technicians who have studied the development of this solution in the wind tunnel.
If previously the mirror support was only a valid flow conveyor useful to let the air go down in the excavation of the sidepods to create that additional load that the F1-75 is able to generate with these shapes that have characterized the Ferrari car in 2022, now it is also able to act in the cockpit area where almost all the teams have tried to place vertical bibs or vortex generators in areas that the regulation has not restricted.

This is an example of micro-aerodynamics that shows us the attention with which the Maranello technicians try to develop Ferrari to maintain that technical supremacy over Red Bull that F1-75 seems to have achieved since the Barcelona GP.
For Baku, Ferrari chose a low-load rear wing with a spoon-shaped main profile and a movable flap with a striking nolder in the central part.
