One week after the cancellation of the Formula 1 Imola Grand Prix, a new press release on the circuit’s website and TicketOne provides further details regarding the procedures and dates for ticket refunds for the Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
The “important communication” is addressed to fans that bought tickets for the cancelled Imola Grand Prix tickets. “Dear Customer,” it begins, “as anticipated in the communication published on May 18, 2023, on the Imolagpf1.ticketone.it and ticketone.it sales websites, following the cancellation of the 2023 edition of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, we are announcing the refund procedures for customers who have purchased tickets for the event.”
The refund will be equivalent to the full ticket value. The statement expresses it as follows: “Tickets purchased on the Imolagpf1.ticketone.it (also through the Monzagpf1.ticketone.it website), ticketone.it sales websites, as well as through the Call Center 892.101, ACI/Automobile Club sales points, and TicketOne sales points, will be refunded for the full value indicated on the tickets. However, postage fees and commissions directly applied to customers by the TicketOne ticketing platform operator will not be refunded.”
For buyers from websites and call centers
The first part is addressed to the following ticket holders: “1. Buyers of tickets through websites and call centers: Imolagpf1.ticketone.it (also through the Monzagpf1.ticketone.it website), ticketone.it, and TicketOne call center 892.101.”
Monetary refund
“Those who wish to receive a monetary refund for the ticket by crediting the amount back to the same payment method originally used for the purchase DO NOT need to make any request to obtain the refund in this manner,” the statement states.

“Starting from June 20th, TicketOne will automatically cancel, on behalf of ACI Sport, the tickets purchased for the event and initiate the refund by crediting the amount back to the same payment method used by the customer for the original purchase order.”
Refund via Voucher
“Only those who wish to receive a refund through the issuance of a voucher must necessarily submit the refund request according to the procedures indicated on the page https://www.rimborso.info/.”
It continues: “It will be possible to submit the voucher refund request starting from 30/05/2023 and no later than 14/06/2023. After this deadline, it will no longer be possible to request the issuance of the voucher, and therefore TicketOne will proceed with the monetary refund automatically.”
“The voucher will be valid for 14 months from the date of issuance, to be used, at the customer’s choice, for the purchase of tickets for events organized by ACI Sport within the aforementioned timeframe (2023 Monza Grand Prix or 2024 Imola Grand Prix) on the Imolagpf1.ticketone.it, Monzagpf1.ticketone.it, and ticketone.it platforms.”
“For those who choose the refund via voucher, TicketOne will transmit the voucher to the customer’s account by 19/06/2023.”
For buyers from sales outlets
The second part provides information regarding refunds for F1 Imola Grand Prix tickets purchased from ACI/TicketOne sales outlets: “2. Buyers of tickets through sales outlets affiliated with ACI/Automobile Club and TicketOne.”
“Customers belonging to this category can choose the following refund methods:
- Monetary refund of the ticket by crediting the amount via bank transfer to the customer’s provided bank details.
- Refund via the issuance of a voucher valid for 14 months from the date of issuance, to be used, at the customer’s choice, for the purchase of tickets for events organized by ACI Sport within the aforementioned timeframe (2023 Monza Grand Prix or 2024 Imola Grand Prix) on the Imolagpf1.ticketone.it, Monzagpf1.ticketone.it, and ticketone.it platforms.”
“Starting from 30/05/2023, an online form will be available at the following link https://www.rimborso.info/ through which the customer can choose their option; the form must be completed no later than 14/06/2023. After this deadline, no type of refund can be processed.”
“Those who choose the refund via voucher must provide their email address in the aforementioned online form so that TicketOne can transmit the voucher to the customer by 19/06/2023.”
“Those who choose the monetary refund must provide their bank details in the aforementioned online form so that TicketOne can, starting from 20/06/2023, cancel the tickets purchased for the event on behalf of ACI Sport and initiate the refund by bank transfer to the customer’s indicated bank account.”
For buyers from reseller channels
Finally, the statement explains the procedures for those who purchased the ticket from reseller channels: “3. Buyers of tickets through reseller channels.”
This category should inquire with the resellers to learn about the procedures they have adopted: “Those who have purchased tickets through professional operators and resellers, meaning through sales channels different from those mentioned in points 1 and 2, should refer to them to learn about the methods and procedures they have adopted for refunding tickets to their customers.”
