Le Castellet is one of the most demanding tracks for the chassis and the aero. Scuderia Ferrari has tried different pushed aero configurations in the wind tunnel in terms of the ground effect considering that the smooth surface enables the lowering of set-ups with the floor close to the track.
Efficiency and downforce levels are very important in the fast chicanes and in the corner sequences from the third sector at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, but the slowest and most technical part is the one made of tight corners.
Also, the French circuit layout enhances the hybrid intervention, and its settings and capacity to regenerate the battery.
