Let’s take a look at the expected pit-stop strategies and windows, alongside the tyres available for each driver ahead of today’s Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos, located in the city of Sao Paulo. The data is based on Pirelli’s indications following the free practice sessions and the Sprint Race on Satutday evening:

According to Pirelli, the fastest strategy should be Soft-Medium-Soft or Soft-Medium-Medium.

For the Brazilian Grand Prix, both Ferrari cars have one set of new softs, three new mediums and one set of new hard tyres. Only Max Verstappen has two new sets of soft tyres in top ten at Interlagos.

Strategy notes:

  • 67% historical safety car deployment in Brazil.
  • 21s loss for pit lane.
  • 11s loss for pit lane under SC/VSC.
