What began in 1996 with a logo on Michael Schumacher’s helmet has now reached the next level: Deutsche Vermögensberatung (DVAG) accompanies Mick Schumacher into Formula 1.
Deutsche Vermögensberatung (DVAG) has been accompanying Mick Schumacher on his racing career for many years – Frankfurt-based financial advisors will also be at Mick’s side when he joins Formula 1 in 2021. This will carry the unique partnership that started 25 years ago between Michael Schumacher and DVAG into the next generation.
Given the close cooperation over many years, a personal friendship developed between the Schumacher family and the Pohl founding family of DVAG. A friendship that is particularly based on appreciation and togetherness. This bond is expressed through Mick Schumacher’s DVAG cap, which has long been part of the basic fan equipment for many motorsport fans. The logo of Deutsche Vermögensberatung will also be represented in the future. In addition, for the first time, financial advice is also present on the side of Mick’s driver’s cap.
On March 28, 2021, Mick Schumacher will contest his first Formula 1 race in Bahrain – he has worked hard to advance to the premier class of motorsport through the championship titles in both Formula 2 and Formula 3. At his side since the beginning of his formula career: Deutsche Vermögensberatung.
“DVAG will always be my first partner, and I am proud to continue this close relationship,” says Mick. “I am touched to know that the name Schumacher has been close friends with DVAG for a quarter of a century. I am proud that it is now me whom DVAG supports in Formula 1. Trust and loyalty are important to me, and I appreciate DVAG and the Pohl family for this just as much as my father and my whole family do. A new phase of our partnership begins together. “
DVAG is also pleased to continue to accompany Mick in Formula 1. Robert Peil, member of the board of directors of Deutsche Vermögensberatung: “After more than 25 years of partnership with his father Michael, this is almost a matter of course for us. For many of our 17,000 financial advisors, he is, just like his father, a partner and role model in equal measure. With his extreme willingness to perform, his will to learn but also his down-to-earth attitude, he embodies values that have connected his father and us for more than two decades. We wish Mick every success at his start in Formula 1 and we are already looking forward to celebrating successes with him.”
Around eight million customers rely on the expertise and experience of the Deutsche Vermögensberatung Unternehmensgruppe when it comes to finance, provision and insurance.
