A few hours before the official launch of the new Ferrari SF-24, the car with which Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will compete in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship, the anticipation among fans and industry insiders is growing immensely. The anticipation is inherent in the Ferrari name, defined by the need to win or fight for top positions, and in the expectations that come with the unveiling of this car, as is customary.
In reality, after a disappointing 2023 Formula One season in which Ferrari unfortunately played a leading role, finishing third in the constructors’ championship, the bar can only be raised. The minimum goal for the upcoming F1 championship is to return to the battle for pole positions and victories against Red Bull, which is considered the obligatory favorite. Therefore, as always, there has been a frantic race among industry professionals and journalists in recent months to gather as many insights as possible, especially technical ones, to understand at least in part the shapes and characteristics of the new Prancing Horse.
A race that doesn’t seem to be ending even a few hours before the car’s presentation, scheduled for 12:00 tomorrow (Central European Standard Time). This time, the rumor concerns the livery of the new SF-24. From some circulated images, it should feature, like in 2023, the movable flap in black with the traditional “Ferrari” logo, with the elongated F written in white. Moreover, in addition to this confirmation, there should be a novelty regarding the coloring of the main plane, which will be red with two thin stripes (near the endplate) in yellow and white, as anticipated in recent days and as clearly seen once the suits of the two drivers were revealed.
