Scuderia Ferrari have officially announced that a new team partner will join their portfolio: Genesys joins the Maranello family by being added to the Ferrari Formula 1 and hypercar programmes.
As confirmed a few days ago, the Italian side decided to terminate their collaboration and deals with two big sponsors from last season, Snapdragon and Velas. The end of these partnerships could have meant a loss of an estimated $55m void for the Maranello team. But Ferrari was quick to look for new sponsors and has now confirmed that ‘customer experience’ business Genesys will be added to the Partners List, and Ferrari confirmed that their logo will be seen on the 2023 Formula 1 challenger, which will be officially presented on February 14.
Genesys, or Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc., is an American software company that sells customer experience and call center technology to mid-sized and large businesses.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will make up the Scuderia’s driver pairing for the third consecutive season, while incoming Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur has started his activity at the top of the F1 Racing Division, replacing ex-team boss Mattia Binotto who left Ferrari at the end of the previous season.
