Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc has received a 3 place grid penalty for the impeding incident with Lando Norris. He drops from P3 to P6 in view of Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix on the streets of Monte Carlo.

FIA Statement explained:

-There was little Charles Leclerc could’ve done to avoid impeding. – He reacted sensibly to the blue flag, but it was too late.

Charles Leclerc’s team did not give him any warning on the radio about Norris behind, until it was too late for the Monegasque driver to be able to avoid the incident.
