Charles Leclerc when asked about his fourth first name: “What a horror! It’s Perceval. I don’t know maybe my parents were fans of knights, after all the name of my brother is Arthur”

Charles: “I hope not!”

Your brother Arthur is going to be in F3 next year, sharing the race weekends with you! Do you think you put pressure on him by being there?
Charles Leclerc: “I try not to visit his races too often & when I go I try not to be in the garage all the time looking at his data etc.”

Charles: “I have learned that from my father, who quite often left me alone on the race weekend so that I grew up on my own. I am trying to do the same with Arthur and so far he is doing a great job!”

Charles: “Every time I’m doing a test, I am nervous like crazy. I think [maybe I got it from my mother or someone else]. It is complicated to completely self-isolate because I am seeing my girlfriend and my family, so yeah it’s more stressful. There have been so many months without doing anything, but once the season started, it hasn’t stopped. As a driver I am lucky, I love what I do. Every time I am on a race track, I am smiling but for the mechanics and their families it is tough.”
